My thanksgiving was great, thanks. Thanksgiving is a day set aside to be grateful. As tradition, this day was set aside to remember the Native Americans and the Pilgrims and what they have done for us. And if that is what started this great tradition, then consider me grateful.
Everybody knows I am a huge holiday season enthusiast. My Winter would be year long if I had control.Snow is a present from my Heavenly Father every time is graces its presence. And the Holidays are pure magic to me, meaning they have a magical affect on humanity.
Thanksgiving makes us stop, and look at the beauty in our lives. For example, the people around us, the place we are at, our jobs, our health etc. etc.
Thanksgiving 2015 has come and gone. And through out my pictures I would like y'all to know that what I am most grateful for, came around during this beautiful holiday.
Thats right, KELSIE. I got the be with her for more than 5 minutes. And you know what? Nothing changes between us. Her friendship is a solid one. We don't have to have a reason to be together, or a topic to gossip about. We don't even have to have the same friends in common, or be in the same city. In fact, most of our friendship has been spent miles apart more than it has been spent together. And guess what? She is still who I run to, who I call, who I tweet or text. We can just simply be together. We can handle silence together, but we also can just talk for days. It's easy and it's real. And I wouldn't replace her for a thing.
I ate rice covered seaweed. It's supposed to be sushi, but it didn't have fish in it (thank the above). I am grateful for an Aunt and Uncle that take me under for a weekend and treat me like one of their own. And make me do things that I don't do! (Like eat fish. Gross!)
I finally got to meet my sweet (but stinky) Baby girl Shaylee. She is adorable. Reminds me of Pumba, from Lion King in the way she can clear a room with her gas. But she is still the most adorable little fart nugget ever and I loved the snuggles we had.
Every family has that one kid that will keep you laughing in every situation. In my family, its not just ONE person. It is all. I am blessed with hilarious people. But most importantly, I am grateful for Mr. Carson mans to have helped me this week. He sure keeps me giggling and smiling in just about everything he does.
Miss Ashweiner....well, I am just grateful for you in so many aspects.
I think we can understand that I am grateful for ALL of my nieces and nephews, even the ones that weren't present this week.
This rookie, who calls me at 10 o clock just to tell me how he is farting in his bed at Grandma's hotel.
I am grateful for my opportunity to be a dreamer. And the dream I have of being a journalist. I'm grateful for the opportunities my parents give me in helping me grow :)
Does anyone wonder why I dream of being a journalist?
I am grateful for this beautiful world that I live in.
I am grateful for news.
I am grateful for sleepovers with my little friends.
I am grateful for the way she shows me how to be a sweet sister.
This one, I just had to put in here. Bryce sure has changed since I last saw him!
I am grateful for these ladies in my life, and the example they give me!
I am grateful for the Lord and his temple. And that families are eternal. I am grateful that Jesus Christ died for me, and brought us this everlasting gospel. For the prophet Joseph Smith and the restoration of all that is true and holy. I am grateful to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I know it is true. And every day that passes I become more and more grateful.
And I am grateful for roommates, that bring me my favorite thing inside. Snow.
See? This past week has been perfect. Filled with everything I could ever dream of.
Life sure has been hard lately, and I feel the pressure adding on with every passing moment.
But this week was good to take a break, and play.
To forget about the cares and the stress.
To laugh without worry.
Now, lets finish off this semester strong.
Yours truly,
Annalee
