As if I needed another good reason to be thankful, it was a great weekend.
And while I could go into the details, and tell you all of the great happenings...I'd rather just go into the people.
I have some pretty amazing friends here, a really great group that surrounds me.
So while my weekends, and some week nights have been filled with fun activities that keep me busy, and distracted from homework and work....
It really isn't that for me.
It is the people that go, and that keep me company that truly matter to me.
Lately I've just felt this incredible attitude of gratitude when it comes to the people surrounding me daily. Whatever mood I may be in, whatever activity may happen, I am encircled with happiness.
Just because the friends I have radiate happiness, and show me joy.
Leaving Rexburg, and transferring to a new college, has become a challenge. I've come to appreciate what I have here, more recently than anything.
Semesters ago, it was easy to say 'I want out' and not feel any remorse, or back lash.
But if I were to try and say that, I would have to agree that it would be nearly impossible to say with a smile on my face.
Attitude of gratitude.
It's getting harder and harder as the semester goes on.
A lot to do.
Full time school.
Work.
The stress of moving, and graduating.
It just kind of puts a damper on the happiness that is surrounding me.
And we all know, that the best food to eat when you need a small pick me up is tacos.
And so, I want tacos.
I realize that I did not just talk up about how excited I am to transfer. I really truly am. I do have family there, which brings comfort.
I do love new adventures. I need that something to keep me on my toes.
Holy mixed emotions....
I super need someone to bring me some tacos :)
