Happy Birthday to the sweetest mommy out there!
October 23.
I love my mommy. I was the luckiest person in the world because not only was I sent to this family, I was sent to be her last and favorite daughter. I have been able to grow up with her, basically alone. No siblings distracting attention away from either one of us. We were always one anothers pal. Luckily, my mom and I are crazy in sync. I have taken on her insane shopping habits, her crazy musical talent, her hilarious jokes, her beautiful looks. Yes. That is my mom. I am her mini me.
I love my mommy, and I have loved spending these last 18 years with her, I so look forward to seeing her again in November.
It has been truly hard on me here at college with out her here. I feel like most people say that college is great with no parents. But me? I am having a rough time cutting the umbilical cord. I have serious separation issues that I never thought I would have. For those that know me they know I love the show Gilmore Girls. It is a show about a "mother-daughter" relationship.
I find my self and my mommy to be like Rory and Lorelai in the sense that we are {best friends} first...and mother-daughter second. Back at home, I found myself choosing her over friends. She was always there, sure we fought and had some bad moments, but I knew my mom would always be there for me.
She always listened to me.
She always cheered me up.
She always pushed me to accomplish something.
She always mine.
Happy birthday Mom, you are nothing shy of awesomeness.
I love you.

Ahhhh. Thanks Anne...I was totally bummed that I didn't get to hear the solo! Save it for me! Seriously, I can't believe the Bishop didn't video it to help a poor mother missing her daughter! Dang him!
