11.2.16

There was a reason.

Today, as I sat down to read my scriptures, a talk popped into my head. This is a talk that I was touched by when it was given originally in April of 2015. So in honor of #ThrowbackThursday, I decided to read it for the billionth time.

The Gift of Grace (This is where you should probably read this incredible talk to understand what it is I am going to say here).

And I am so grateful I did. I am so grateful for the atonement of my Savior, Jesus Christ. After I finished reading this talk, I opened up to D&C 18:10-12.

I just want to bear my testimony of these eternal truths. I know that the gift of His Grace is a gift for all of us here on the earth. I know that the Sacrifice made by my Savior, Jesus Christ was real and that He had every reason to fulfill it. That reason is because he loves us, and He wants us back. You won't find a greater love here than His on this earth in this lifetime. And I know He would have done it again, save it be for only one soul. And I pray that one day, all can feel of this love and that they may follow it. Because of His sacrifice, we can return to live with our Heavenly Father for eternity, we can repent and become more like Him.

I know families are eternal, and I am so grateful for that knowledge. Life doesn't end here. I am so grateful for temples and the blessings they bring.

This life is hard, and our Heavenly Father and His Son know that more than anyone, and they are always listening, and more than that, they have a plan for each and every one of us. I know that they always have their arms extended to anyone who is willing to talk to them, and are willing to answer to those who ask.

I'm not one to post a lot about what it is that I believe, or what it is I spent 18 months of my life dedicated to. But right here right now, I invite all to come unto Christ. Learn of these eternal truths by visiting, www.mormon.org
