I am behind, and I know it.
Here is my update of this break.
I arrived on Friday morning after waking up at like 5 am...
Katie and I were in charge of all of the kids for the day.
We did everything from craft time, to movies on our pajama day!
During the naps, it was just sister time, which was nice because... I missed her!
I don't get to see my sister very often, but when I do see her I love every moment of it!
Then my parents were home the next day.
Everyone just piled in from there.
After my parents came, Mike and Julie came back after their vacation.
Jeff and Jessica arrived on Thursday
Steve and Meri drove all day Friday and Bryce flew in that same night.
It honestly is so great having my family here all together.
I completely forgot about Christmas because I was so focused on being there, seeing everyone.
So far the nights that have been spent together have been full of laughter and holiday cheer.
I also got to see my Chick fil a family!
I love them. I started working on Tuesday....
Nothing has changed...ha! Besides the whole system.
But the people are still exciting to be around, they still make me laugh.
The cooks still creep me out, are still loud when they sing.
One night we went to Steak and Shake.
Just me and the guys. The cool guys :)
I had to work Christmas eve from 5:30 (AM)- 2 pm.
I had never opened before so it was real interesting.
But I got off and got my nails done with sister and mom.
CHRISTMAS EVE PARTY::
How could I not be completely satisfied with a night complete with my huge family, joking around, making gingerbread houses, playing Christmas jeopardy, family feud??
I was completely satisfied...even though I was pooped from waking up at 5 am...
We even had the little kids act out the nativity scene...well for as long as they would hold.
Christmas--
We woke up and went to church.
Then came home after Sacrament and ate breakfast.
THEN it was presents.
I got my seasons of Gilmore girls! ALL of them.
Dreams come true.
Monday was family pictures :)
I love my family.
Everything between a snowball fight to swinging.
I have the most beautiful siblings, parents, and nieces and nephew.
I'll do a picture post next.
Tuesday was work.
Blah.
Boring...minus our 20 minute freak out full of accents and jokes.
Wednesday was girls day!
Shopping.
Lunch.
It was great!
Got some new running shoes, sunglasses.!
It was the bomb.
Basically I worked all week.
NEW YEARS EVE::
Katie Macoy had the CFA family together...minus a couple...adding a new friend Lindsey!
It was so fun.
We mainly just talked.
Made pizza.
Got crept on by a 12 year old.
But my favorite part...was being with them. Together.
They were the only one that I was looking forward to seeing here over break.
And they are the only ones, beside family, that I will miss!!!
But besides all that...I got my Denver Nuggets back!!!!
They won their first two....lost their second two...
Still playing in Game 5.
I have seriously missed the blue and yellow jerseys.
The fast break plays.
My boys.
I am so looking forward to watching the rest of this season!
So that's it.
Tomorrow we head back to the land of the burg.
Bittersweet.
More bitter than sweet.
So many things I will miss.
But some to look forward to.
It's a new year.
New times.
New people.
New classes.
New plans.
New dreams.
Ready or not 2012, here we come.
