What kind of a teacher re assigns a paper that almost all high school seniors have to achieve in order to graduate? We are tired of writing pointless papers that we have to do pointless research on. We are fully aware that you have told us to pick a topic we won't get sick of talking, or researching. But I'm pretty sure that anyone would get sick of ANY topic after writing a 9 page paper, and doing 3 weeks of research on. It doesn't matter how passionate you are about the topic you pick...we will get sick of it.
Good crap. Oh and who assigns it to be done the day AFTER THANKSGIVING?
I used to like you English teacher...but this is just absurd.
