today.

Today I was asked if I was happy.

As soon as the question came out, I replied yes. 

No thought, just blurted out a big and honest yes.

Then I was asked why....

That one stumbled in my brain.

I knew I could give that blanket answer and say things were just great....

but for me personally, I wanted to know...

So here it is.

For once, I have nothing in my life holding me back.

I have new friends.

I have a new place I call home.

I have people that I miss.

I have an awesome family, that while moving up here...shocked me in the amount of interest they showed.

Yes I am  happy, completely.

I have a life that I finally care for...that I finally call my life. 

It's a simple anwser...backed up by simple reasons.
